Amazing view and very friendly staff

- The view from our room!! - The staff was super friendly and helpful - Close to the city centre - The breakfast was amazing. The had fruits, different types of bread, cakes, eggs, juices, etc etc - The room was super clean every time we came back from our daily tours

- The isolation to the street. It can get quite noisy a main street just outside and people hanging out outside the hotel. Cigarette smoke could come inside too. - Some minor issues with the communication with the staff. We were told there was always going to be hot water available at the entrance and that was not the case. It was not clear that we had to book a slot in the pool in the morning hours. The pool staff was nice to let us in anyway though. Easily improved issues :)

Location was excellent! This hotel is in front of Villarrica lake with an spectacular view to Osorno Volcano.

It is time for the hotel to change the bathroom towels, they are really over used. They do not look clean anymore.

Beautiful location

Beautiful location with views across the water

The room I had been given next to the bar had loud music on till late. No warning was given at check-in. I asked the staff at the reception bar if it was ok to sit and have a glass of wine on the seats just in front of them. They said it was OK, but then nobody came to ask for my order, they just kept looking at me. I tried to grab their attention, but was ignored. I waited for 30mins, then left.

Very good value. Staff were wonderful and tried to help whenever they could; the view is beautiful.

The view from the room was wonderful - look across the street to the beautiful lake. The bathroom was clean and the bed was adequately comfortable. Near the lobby there is a central room with a fireplace plus a couple other rooms with tables and views of the lake where one can relax with their travel partners.

The eggs in the breakfast set-up were runny - almost like they had not been fully cooked. There were other breakfast options to make up for this. Rooms are dated.

Great stay in Puerto Varas

Bellavista Hotel's best part is its staff. I enjoyed talking with the friendly staff to resolve any concerns. The decoration in the lobby is so chic. The view is spectacular, and the room is just in front of the lake and the volcano. The room was sparkling clean, and I loved their measures for a more sustainable stay with the water bottles and towels. I didn't use the pool and hot tub facilities, but you have to reserve them during check-in. Overall, a great stay in Puerto Varas.

Maybe it was only my room, but the lighting was a little odd. The lamps are positioned so that not all the room gets light (and one lamp was kinda dying). I wish the decoration of the room were more like their lobby.

Very Good

The hotel is located right by the lake and provides good view of the lake and the volcano. The location is also very close to the meeting point where we need to take the Andean Lake Crossing early in the morning from Puerto Varas to Barilochi. Hotel front desk staff is pretty good, especially the gentleman who speaks English. He was extremely helpful and gave us a lot of good suggestions. The included breakfast is also very good.

The hotel itself is a bit old. But it still provides reasonably comfortable stay.

No help with luggage from reception staff, specially as our rooms were on the stairs only area...
